Admissions Process

1. Talk to an advisor

D’Youville Online provides all potential students access to an individual enrollment advisor. They’ll support you every step of the way as you go through the application process. Together, you’ll find the right program, and your advisor will make sure you have the information you need to apply.

2. Apply

Find out whether your program of choice has rolling admissions, or spring and fall
deadlines. Depending on your program, there are several items you’ll need in order to apply:


  • An application form
  • Official transcripts

Individual programs may have additional requirements, such as:

  • Previous degree earned from an accredited college or university
  • Licensure in a relevant field of study
  • An admissions statement or essay
  • A current resume
  • Letters of recommendation
  • Favorable interview with program director
  • Relevant work experience
  • TOEFL scores
  • DD214 or other military documents, if relevant
  • Proof of New York residency

3. Next Steps

Congratulations! You’ve been accepted into D’Youville Online. Next, you’ll need to:

  • Transfer any credits that might help you toward completing your degree
  • Pay all fees required to begin your program
  • Complete financial aid forms (and military forms, if applicable)
  • Enroll in your courses of choice
  • Obtain educational materials you need to start class
